Need help with your account, a scheduled service, or becoming a Buddy? Reach us directly — a real person answers.
We reply to email within one business day. For anything time-sensitive — a Buddy who has not arrived, or a job that needs changing today — texting is fastest.
Open the app and check the Bins tab. Every order shows its current status, from Scheduled through to Completed. If a job is past its scheduled day and still shows as Scheduled, contact us and we will sort it out.
A job can be cancelled from the app any time before a Buddy has started it, and you are refunded in full automatically. Once a Buddy is on the way, contact us and we will help.
Your membership and payment method are managed in the app under Me → Manage Billing, which opens our payment processor's secure portal. There you can update your card, view invoices, or cancel your membership. Individual services are billed separately from the membership, and each one generates its own invoice.
You can delete your BinBuddies account and personal data at any time from the app: Me → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Any active subscriptions are cancelled so you are not billed again, and any job you have paid for that no Buddy has started yet is refunded. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Buddies set their own hours and choose which jobs to take. Apply at binbuddiesapp.com/for-buddies or through the app. Applying involves identity verification and a background check, since Buddies work on customers' property.
BinBuddies currently serves Birmingham, Alabama and the surrounding area. If we are not in your neighborhood yet, you can join the waitlist on our coverage checker and we will let you know when we arrive.
We want BinBuddies to work for everyone. If any part of the app is difficult to use — with VoiceOver, at larger text sizes, or for any other reason — please tell us at [email protected]. We treat those reports as bugs, not feature requests, and we will tell you when they are fixed.
