Bin moving is priced to your driveway — an easy walk to the curb costs less, and longer or steeper driveways fall into a higher tier. A one-time move runs $12 to $20 depending on the driveway. Prefer it handled every week? A recurring plan starts at $40/month, or $80/month if your neighborhood gets two collections a week.

How much does on-demand bin cleaning cost?

On-demand bin cleaning is $30 for one bin and an additional $10 for each additional bin added to the order. If you'd rather have it handled regularly, a recurring cleaning plan is $20 per bin weekly or $25 per bin monthly, plus $10 for each additional bin.

Do I need to be home for service?

No. Your Buddy works independently based on your address and scheduled pickup day. There's nothing for you to do — before, during, or after.

Are your Buddies background-checked?

Yes. Every Buddy passes a comprehensive background check, is legally authorized to work in the United States, carries a valid driver's license and active insurance, and is continuously monitored after that first check. They're also personally reviewed and approved by our team before completing their first service. Background checks and monitoring are powered by Checkr, the same platform used by Uber, Instacart, and Lyft.

Local trash schedules can be all over the place and that's why we've built our entire service to adapt to your city's erratic timing. Customized Windows: During onboarding, you'll select a preferred time window based on when your neighborhood's trucks typically arrive. We dispatch our Buddies to ensure your bins are at the curb well before the earliest truck shows up. On-Demand Adjustments: City schedules change due to holidays, weather, or driver shortages. If you ever get a surprise notice from the city, just open the BinBuddies app to request an immediate, on-demand bin movement outside of your standard weekly schedule. Whether the city is running early or running late, we track the timing so you don't have to.
